G is a casual, contemporary Italian restaurant with a full-service bar that is open daily for lunch and dinner with a full selection of sandwiches, antipasti and pastas. Each week, G serves Sunday Gravy, a recreation of the Isabella family’s traditional end-of-the-week feasts. G is located in the heart of D.C.’s bustling 14th street corridor, with an additional Sandwich Shop location at Nationals Park.
The contemporary Italian restaurant is Isabella’s first concept with locations in the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. and Richmond. The D.C. location is also home Isabella’s famous Industry Takeover Nights.
This 10-concept food emporium is an unprecedented restaurant project set to open in Tysons Galleria in 2017.
Two wood-fire grills with rotating spits are the centerpiece of this mainland Greek concept. Guests enjoy carvings from whole spit-roasted lamb, goat, pig and chicken, as well as an extensive menu of spreads, phyllo pies and, vegetable dishes meant for sharing.
Kapnos Taverna, a sister restaurant to Mike Isabella’s Kapnos, features more of a coastal look at Greek cuisine alongside some of the biggest hits from his modern ode to mainland and northern Greece. A second location is open in Ronald Reagan National Airport, and a third outpost will open in College Park, Maryland in 2017.
Chef Isabella’s third Greek concept features home-style Greek cuisine with a focus on rustic dishes and sharable platters. Kouzina, Greek for kitchen, has a casual ambiance fitting to its name. The Bethesda location is Isabella’s first Maryland restaurant.
This coastal Mexican cantina is just around the corner from Kapnos Taverna in Arlington, VA. A robust beverage program features a large selection of tequila and mezcal and a list of rocks and frozen margaritas made to order with fresh fruit, as well as a dozen familiar Mexican dishes.
A collaboration with Top Chef finalist Jennifer Carroll, Requin brings the Mediterranean coast of France to Merrifield, Va. A second location will open in The Wharf waterfront development in Southwest D.C. in 2017. The riverside restaurant will have an extensive European wine program and seafood-driven menu.
